The Chattahoochee Council, Scouting America Council has teamed up with CTC- Columbus Technical College to bring a new opportunity for Scouts BSA Scouts to not only earn merit badges, but learn skills and content from the subject matter experts themselves, our local professors!

Scouts have the opportunity to work on Merit Badges in a series, where the course content in each class builds the skills necessary to finish the additional merit badges throughout the day. There is the opportunity to explore merit badges that spark their interest in various fields or if they choose we even offer BLS(Basic Life Saving) Certification. Merit Badge University truly has something to offer every Scout!

There is a mixture of of Full Day and Half Day courses to choose from.

9:00 AM - Check in at Patrick Hall
9:30 AM - 10:00 AM - Opening in the McCaulley Auditorium then Dismissal to Classes.
10:00 AM  - 12:00 PM - Morning Classes
12:00 - 12:30 - Lunch: All Scouts will be provided lunch. Lunch will be brought to the classroom at 12:00 PM.
12:30 - 4:30 - Classes Continue
4:30 - Dismissal

Class Transitions: If class changes are from building to building, it will the parents responsibility to transport their their youth. Due to the distance and traffic, youth will not be permitted to walk.
