Welcome ! Camp FGL is located on the border of West Georgia and East Alabama about halfway between Birmingham and Atlanta on a 900-acre peninsula on the beautiful West Point Lake in LaGrange, Georgia. Our camp is the premier fresh-water Aquatics Base in the Southeast. Come enjoy activities on beautiful West Point Lake. Camp FGL has over 9 miles of shoreline for activities and scenic views.

FGL features the beautiful McKenzie Waterfront where you are able do all sorts of fun activities like kayaking, canoeing, motorboating, jet skis and much more. Our Camp has a 300 seated air-conditioned dining hall along with the trading post next door. FGL also offers fun activities at the Rifle Range , Archery Range, Shotgun Range and 50-foot Climbing and Rappelling Tower

The Chattahoochee Council volunteers, and professional staff have worked hard to create the best possible summer camp experience for your troop.  Our goal is to provide a program that fits the needs of your unit.  We believe that Summer Camp is a place for fun, adventure, and fellowship.  We are excited about your troop’s attendance at Camp FGL. On behalf of the Chattahoochee Council Program Committee, we look forward to seeing you at camp this summer.

STEP #3 - Register your Unit!

2025 Summer Camp Registration link opens February 2025 to start making $100 per Scout deposits!

Class/Course Registration is Open as of March 3, 2025.

  • Week #3 Registration - June 29 - July 5, 2025

Cancellation Policy
Scouts and Adult Leaders will receive a full refund less a $50.00 cancellation fee if they cancel 60 days before the start of your week of camp, a 50% refund if they cancel within 30 days before the start of your week of camp, and a 25% refund if they cancel within 7 days before the start of your week of camp. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made the day of check-in. $150.00 Site Deposit is non-refundable.
